We are currently looking for a Jr. Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting team in Bedford, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Accounting management on related projects, preparing excel spreadsheets
- Prepare Contract and Proposal files
- Scanning Accounting related records
- Input journal entries into SAP
- Prepare freight analyses and freight entry
- Prepare month-end Aging report
- Prepare new rentals report
- Assist with reconciling each SN branch during the monthly close process
- Prepare certain month-end inventory graphs
- Generate month-end financial reports for distribution
- Prepare Supplier forms, and other forms for new vendor setup
- Prepare census forms
- Emergency Backup to Barbara Leighton for Travel Arrangements
- Complete assigned audit responsibilities.
- Provide support to external auditors during annual audit
- Backup to the Receptionist
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations
- Assist with 401k audits
- Perform 401K contribution transmittals and proofs
- Track the fringe benefits for eventual additions to W2s.
Treasury Functions:
- Track and report daily cash book and bank balances to management
- Reports daily cash timely and accurately
Qualifications:
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: One year office experience
Skills: Microsoft Office, SAP
Training: Will be provided as needed
